Blind

Blind

A Poem by Mortricia
"

Learning to play the part.

"

She's got a bad reputation

A low estimation

Prestige, going under

Mind reaching cessation

Oh, she needs a rescue

Salvage what she can

Disposition, belly-up

Smile, transient as man

Magic fades, as words

Haunting pages and staining air

Malevolence as her charm

Faux minds seem not to care

For now she plays the part

She's a jester, painted smile

She sees her good composure

Yet, she is blind all the while
