Necklace

janurarysecond2018. very short.

I have my issues strung around me like a necklace.
Strong enough to suspend me.

But they would never believe me if I told them.
It's too small for eyes to see.

this is very deep
we have issues they are huge to us
but in a necklace the links all issues are so small in others eyes
is that what you meant?

woah the idea of the links being individual issues is creative i havent thought of that. i was going from more of a suicide by noose type of imagery that goes unnoticed by others. thanks for the review :D

The issues mentioned in line one have the speaker in such despair that the issues make him want to hang himself (or have something around his neck to suspend him in the air). The necklaces represent his issues but nobody can quite see what he's dealing with.
