Werewolves & Vampires

Werewolves & Vampires

A Poem by Khristian Burkhart

There be films of Werewolves & Vampires,
And many wish that world be theirs.

Our world is trite and arid.
Too many bills and not enough thrills.
But isn't our life just as morbid?

I have seen all of man's fears,
And felt the chill of God's tears.

There are beings that tread beside you.
And they happen to whisper,
"If only if it hadn't of been you."
There are beings that desire beneath your flesh.
There are beings that thirst for your fear.
Quick!
Let not them not drawn near.

They have not fangs nor claws,
Or suck at your neck not,
They do not roam at night fall,
But hunt you they aught.

 Vampires & Werewolves
Are of no threat to you nor I,
But of those that lay behind you-

Demons are not shy.

I am one who dances with closed eyes, thin lips, and an open mind. I am one who deems the rugged crisp tone of the German tongue seductive. I am one who was born where she stands, but dreams to make t.. more..
