Devil's Decree

Devil's Decree

A Poem by Khristian Burkhart

Write my name in your mother's tongue,
Spell it with roses and kitten thumbs.
Your heart's desires are mine to claim,
Even that of your name.
You've fallen into my heinous scheme,
Oh, how deceived you are to the mean.
Sign your last possessions to the black,
And remain held without lack.
