Dance, puppet

Dance, puppet

A Poem by Bean
"

Personal growth achieved through wandering down an undersirable alleyway

"

These words that spill

from my heart

with ease

come with the promise

of catharsis

and self forgiveness

As even knowing now

that 18 days have passed

since I last held your gaze

I feel pride in knowing

that even if our book has

ended

This new experience has spawned

a new beginning

within myself

One where I am culpable

flawed, juvenile, errant

Where my clandestine affairs

with my own psyche are

bared and on display

Where I allow myself to feel

and I do not feel shame

in crying

I am broken, but I am alive

Having regained control of a new

handful of marionette strings

Beautifully concieved and delivered in well written poetic prose. All new beginnings are based on something ending from which we learn

All about the journey. I liked that it ended with a real happiness, that did not come without trials. Very nicely done.
