Tortured Mind

Tortured Mind

A Poem by trinityluv122

Among a smashed mirror she tries to salvage a piece of her exsistence
A shard of glass with a fragment reflects green eyes and a tear dripping slowly down
It lands on a broken heart shattering the beat as it stops in silence
Her breath draws up the mangled jigsaw that reassembles a beautiful reflection
Once full of love and laughter touching many who looked upon her radiance
Now this face......her face living within her destroyed soul
Battles for vengeance and retribution to fill the ones
The demons the devils that stole what she held so dear
Her worth trembles and grasps at the gutted pain
Every minute, every hour she rolls around in her tortured mind
She is fighting to get resurrection that transcends her truth and innocence
Screaming at the top of her insanity for peace and calm again
Hypnotically she stares at the shinning drop, touching it with madness and crazy laughter
Who will pay for the irreversible damage that only hope and faith can restore
Psychotically drowning in a room with no doors, she entangles the fetal position rocking and praying never to wake again

WOW!!!! Omg, this was fantastic!! Totally love it, and can totally relate to it to a 'T.' Such a sad and powerful piece with emotion so bright, that it blinds those who see it. Very, very moving piece hun, great job!! :) *hugs*
