Leap Of Face

Leap Of Face

A Poem by Trickster

Written December 2007

"

I'll cut my hair
With rusty scissors,
Practice topiary
Or hari-kari,
Like Samson I'll become
Powerless.

The time I've spent
Growing it, or
Not stopping it from
Growing, will then be over too.
I'll cut my hair
(Or get it cut)
If ever you ask me to.

I love the title of this. It really becomes the piece. I love simple complexity of the piece. This I could find myself reading several times. I'll be adding this to my favorites. I am anxious to read more of your work.
