Remarkable things

Remarkable things

A Poem by Tricia Johansson

Everything I ever knew
Things that might happen
You were the one who taught me
Some of the most remarkable things

Some things you've said;
Made perfect sense
Some things you've said;
Were insanely wrong

Having this impact
in one human's life
I'm not able to fully understand it
These things are just simply what it is

Perhaps it's just how nature works
Even though it seems incredibly complicated
Not knowing if what you're doing is right or wrong
I can't relate to it, I haven't created a living creature

I have been taught a lot of things
I have been taught mathematics, how to behave properly
But in most cases you can't be taught
how to be a great parent
