Halloween gives us the opportunity for anyone to be whatever they want, embrace it.

Halloween

Quickly heading into fall, many different changes happen which are clear.

Leaves change, decorations are put up, candy is bought, and costumes appear.

Halloween is here.

Halloween is a time not only for joining with friends and family to visit the cider mill, carve pumpkins, and trick or treat, but also a time for ordinary people to be whatever their heart desires without judgment.

Halloween allows the shy, insecure, and innocent girl become the sexualized cat or bunny.

Halloween allows the boy who always wanted to be an astronaut, become one.

Halloween gives boys, girls, men and women all the opportunity to be whatever they want or thought they never could be, all for one night.

In this night, kids go door to door, while adults pass out candy or attend cocktail parties. All receive no judgment, just compliments and experiencing the thrills.

The thrill of being someone or something you are not is exhilarating, as it it the one night to explore, and be whatever you want.

So be the sexualized cat or bunny.

So be the astronaut.

Be yourself.

Or simply be whoever you want to be.

Happy Halloween.
