It's a lonely world

It's a lonely world

A Poem by Sarah Redigan

Its a lonely world ma'am / daddy
Its a lonely world brother/sister
Its a lonely world grandma/grandpa

Its a lonely world we're living in

People starving/struggling and making it
you cant brake us down
you can tare us apart

Its a lonely world

But we're fighting it
What you throw at us we're never gonna give it up
or surrender it

Braking our backs just to survive
only to bring home nickles and dimes

Its a lonely world

Saying i do to give each other their lives
only to be stabbed in the back with a knife

Its a lonely world

Babies being born into heartache and strife

Its a lonely world

Soldiers being pulled away from their
Kids and their Wives

Its a lonely world

The little man works his whole life for peace
Then he dies

Its a lonely world

BRAKE FREE from these chains
BRAKE FREE from this life
We're LIVING IN
        LOVING IN
STRUGGLING IN

BRAKE free
BRAKE free
BRAKE fREE

FROM THESE CHAINS

I wish this generation had the energy of the sixties kids. They fought for peace. Waiting list to go to war today.. No job and war is better. That is very scary. Kids should be having fun. Not killing or dying. A very good poem. Made me think this late evening. Thank you for the excellent poem.

Wow! I love this poem!
We have to break free from these chains that bound our humanity!
That's what this poem mean's to me. Thanks!
(Please read my story called The Blonde Girl. I think you would like it a lot.)
Keep up the great work!

Thank u so much for u r kind words and your beautiful review
You are writhing our struggled life with/in a visionary soul. It yearns a wealth of love writing through a poets passion to be free. Yearns to know love itself in the opening of our collective doors…our kitchen tables…our parking lot languages. I am very grateful you came to read. Yours is a wishing tree filled with gardens and apples of inspiration…Thanks!!!

It looks like a point of view of life from the character in the poem, on the creativity part it works with the words around it of how the character is able to describe its surroundings and by doings so breaks free.
