A Poem by T.C. Banks

Be still, oh wandering mind, from the worries of this world

Be calm, oh worried heart, over things you've no control

Find rest, oh weary soul, in the One who made all things

The Counselor has come and The Comforter is near

So you, oh mixed emotions, shall know not what it is to fear

Praise ye instead The Lord above lords

Sing praise, you broken voice
Bring praise, you shaking hands
Seek grace, you blinded eyes
Hear faith, you useless ears

The bloods of the nations cry out for Salvation

Salvation

Salvation through sacrifice, no greater love

Salvation through sacrifice, He poured out His blood

Salvation through mercy, forgiveness through grace

Sweat from His face are ye, oh petty sins

So be still, oh wandering mind
Oh worried heart, be calm
Find rest, oh weary soul
Find rest

The last part (So be still, oh wandering mind/oh worried heart, be calm/find rest, oh weary soul/find rest) makes me think of the song 'Find Rest' by Francesca Battistelli. The words of this poem are very moving and true and this is officially one of my favorites!! Thanks for shining your light and making my day! :)

Nice one. I believe this could best be heard with music. Keep writing.

Very beautiful, and detailed with such emotions, i can almost feel what you felt when you were producing this piece. Well done.
Looking forward to read more of your work.

Luna.

I really like this, recently I find myself speaking similar things to find comfort and rest. Only through Him can we have true comfort and rest and I am very thankful that He can be with all of us at once. A very good and uplifting piece.

Great Job
