Why?

Why?

A Poem by T.C. Banks

Why does the world hate?
Why does the world hate and then anticipate that the one who creates will prove their case?
Why can't the world love?
Why can't the world love like it is taught by the One who descends as a dove pure white from above?
Why does the world try?
Why does the world try to justify what is evil in His eyes ?
Why does the world kill?
Why does the world kill and say "for the city on the hill" that they will never fill?
Why can't the world see?
Why can't the world see that "No one comes to the Father except through me." and that's the only place to be in the chaos of this sea?
Why can't the world know how?
Why can't the world know how to accept the vow from the creator now and not a second later?
He has said these words.
He has said these words “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
