To All The Hearts That Have Broken By A Man

this i wrote when i was very sad last year

 

My heart was broken in two by the boy I once knew

He said he didn’t love me any more

But my feelings stayed just the same

Then my world came tumbling down

How could you do what you’re doing to me

You used to love me what did I do were did I go wrong

Was it me or is it you

I used to love you know I’m saddened by you

How can you live that way

Knowing that you hurt someone so good to you

You will never have your life so good

My love for you was so pure

Now my love can never love again

You ruined love for me and for my life

Now that’s left of my life is the hole he put in my heart

This is a really good poem, shows the emotions that someone with a broken heart can endure as they struggle to overcome it. The line "I used to love you know I’m saddened by you" shows this emotion so well.
