"Venice" (No place for the Homeless)

"Venice" (No place for the Homeless)

A Story by CRAIG A. THOMSON
"

An observation

"

It's a beautiful spring evening in Venice,

And already, like returning swallows, the summer tourists begin to arrive.

After a long hard winter, their euros will bring welcome economic change.

One particular thing that I find fascinating about Venice is,

that you seldom, if ever, see a vagrant sleeping rough on the street.

A Grand Canal indeed!
