The tree is tall, brave and wise.

It doesn’t need a wave good bye,

It keeps your secrets, your dirty lies.

It holds on to your interests, and the color of your beautiful eyes.

Initially the last line threw me, but after reading it a couple of times, I sort of see the rhythm you were getting at. The words themselves are beautifully written, you're a verbal artist painting beautiful images with everything you write, keep it up :)
