My 3 Short-Lived LivesA Poem by TrebleThis was based on a 7th grade science assignment.I am the bullied little igneous rock Oh, no! It’s raining too heavily! Crack in the head. Stop it, ice! I’m rolling down hill!!!!!!!! Stop pushing me down! You’re so physical and mean. Crack! I’m done for. Ow, my arms and legs! Where am I? This life or the next? Next life. What am I? Sedimentary. OWWWWW! I’m rock hard, you know. You are too strong! Being pressed together. Dead. Where am I? Next life. What am I? Metamorphic. I am melting! Shot out of it. Pushed against others. Yay! I’m igneous, the old me. © 2011 TrebleReviews
