She Is My SisterA Poem by Treble
She is my sister
Her fragility Tiny hands Pull my finger Eyes blend with the sky Her head falls back, But my hand's there to stop it No worries cross her mind Skies in her dream blend With the tint in her cheeks That fragility Like iron hitting a box of sand Rocking her As her eyes fall closed And she relaxes She is my sister I love her with my life She opens her eyes, As her mouth opens To a child's cry. My heart opens to her, Like it has never done before To fondle gently with her hands, A dream come true. Her eyes wide with a child-like curiosity I play with her I love her Her eyes say nothing but innocence That little one She is my sister
