Please don't give up on me.
I may not be perfect,
But this I promise you,
One day I'll make you proud.
In the meantime, don't give up on me.

If I cut myself, it's only
cause I'm tryin' so hard.
It's only cause it's all so new.
And yes, sometimes I get a little scared.
But don't give up on me.

I know my parents
gave up so long ago.
But who can blame them?
I gave up.
I still give up, but I get up and try again.
So please don't give up on me.

Maybe I'm saying these words,
cause I'm afraid I'm gonna
give up on my own.
Maybe I don't trust myself,
But still, please don't give up on me.
