The Moment of Truth

The Moment of Truth

A Poem by Treble
"

If you've ever asked someone out, you'll get this

"
A glow diffuses through her tan,
a sparkle dances in her eyes.

Her fingertips walk across the table,
her wrist plays along.

She has a big grin on her face,
she stands up, clumsily at first.

She runs her fingers through her hair,
she fixes her dress,
and she walks up to him.
