Remembrance

Remembrance

A Poem by Treble

I recall a thousand times
of laughter, joy and hope.
Yet though they should be bittersweet,
I feel no beaming happiness.

Every laugh of past stings me,
every smile a burden.
Forgive me for words of pain.
Of bittersweet, I'm simply bitter.
