Alone

We chased each other in diapers,

doggy paddled for the first time together,

wore matching caps and gowns in kindergarten,

played with teddy bears to calm our sixth grade nerves,

joined the same soccer team in high school,

graduated in matching caps and gowns,

went to the same university,

helped each other with our PhD's,

worked in the same school,

had kids the same age

who chased each other in diapers,
