When

When

A Poem by Treble

When the mistletoe is the lover's sign,
and the lover's face is made bright by his lover's proposal,
her ring glistens in the winter's moonlight
as she passes it to him.

When the tree is in his house,
lighting up the room so bright,
his jolly is made jollier by the scent
of the candles beneath the tree.

When the most important feat is not
looking out for his own self,
he makes sure his family knows
his love for them surpasses all the love ever known.
