Daddy and Mommy SayA Poem by Treble
Why am I always
Stuck in the middle? Pulled two ways? Mommy says daddy's doing everything wrong. Daddy says mommy's doing everything wrong. Mommy says daddy breaks rules. Daddy says mommy has a temper. Mommy says daddy's close-minded. Daddy says mommy's no good. Mommy says, "tell daddy this and that." Daddy says, "tell mommy this and that." Someone pull me out of this quicksand. Someone help me out of this river of rocks. Someone help me out of this forest. I'm lost. Mommy says daddy's doing everything wrong. Daddy says mommy's doing everything wrong. Mommy says daddy breaks rules. Daddy says mommy has a temper. Mommy says daddy's close-minded. Daddy says mommy's no good. Mommy says, "tell daddy this and that." Daddy says, "tell mommy this and that." I say, "I'm the kid. Don't make me choose. Don't make me the messenger. I'm just the kid, So let me be the kid."
