A Musing of Me

You left poems in me.

The air is pregnant with you;

I feel your lungs expanding

in the ground

as the Maple breathes,

and the salt decides to linger

around me.

And its just like you

to break the silence,

and call me over to see the sky

giving birth

to the other side of your gaze.

You would have written to me

about the paths between the clouds,

the mango glade on which you rest

the sea of purple at your feet.

Your words are a delightful reminder to see birthing thoughts and life as the blessings of everyday observations. The very air expanding our lungs on each breath is as heavenly as any sunrise and the exhale as passionate as any sunset.

i find both beauty and sadness here...even though the love has passed, she still feels him in everything around her..and she is often reminded of his voice and how he would want to show her the beauty of nature, now he is part of it, and still part of her.
