Not sure if you meant this to be haiku, but it's 17 syllables & technically, haiku is not required to be 5 - 7 - 5 . . . regardless, your slice of recognition is intensely meaningful, while also being perfectly visual. This might be one of the most original writes about the moon I've ever read, & I love the moon, so I read lots of moon writings. Your message can also be analogous to human relationships. But I prefer thinking of it as a love affair between these two orbs *smile*
