His dark mood was calm

And with a look in his eyes

That spoke of patience...

Thanks again, Andrew :)
this is like the calm before the storm...right before the explosion (maybe abuse)

the perspective is perfect...and of course the brevity really impacts.

whoa. such power packed into enviable brevity. one more word added to this would surely diminish its impact. truth be told, i would run run away run away.

ya see, what makes this piece so amazing to me . . . i woulda ruined it w/too many words. my fingers frequently suffer from diarrhea. excellent work, dear poet. scared the 'ell outa me.

I really identify with this. I'm a very patient person. Yet I find myself feeling the weight of being patient. An odd contradiction. The best times are when you can actually let go and be beyond the cares. This is a more enlightened type of patience... I'm working on it. Be patient with me. Ha.
Fun to read a new thought from your creative mind.

A very short but somehow intense write. Sometimes one needs only very few words to express a deeper sense of sth. I could easily create an image in my mind. I feel like it's a little cliffhanger poem.
