Do you really think letting them take your guns is going to make YOU any safer? Guns don't kill, people do.

We are the Titanic,

America, the "unsinkable"

carrying dreams of freedom to their murky death.

We are the entertainment capital,

a nation full of crisis actors

getting paid to act like zombies

We are the land of the free

obliging our free willed government

to do exactly as they please

We are the land of the wealthy

buying into all the lies

with a fiat mentality and

complacent, bankrupt hearts.

Its criminal to know what governments get away with and we pay. In the 1990's the South Australian Govt and The State Bank Of SA lost 3billion dollars, no one was accountable, they just resigned and took a big paycheck. We the public are still paying this through the highest taxes in country. If I lost 3 billion I would be in jail. lol. Rules to not apply for some! Thank you lynn , a good write!

The format is very good here Lynn. You tied the lines together and the stopping points were perfectly placed.
I have to agree we have these tendencies at times... We are these things. Yet, we are so much more. I could not think of our country in this light however. It is good to call out the ugly. Do not hide from it. I think this is a worthy thought to stimulate us to fight hard for a better truth to supersede. After all, this country is where such a mind as yours has lived and learned to think and write. The greatest place on Earth is still on Earth, and as such will carry her failings.
I did enjoy the write.
