Do you really think letting them take your guns is going to make YOU any safer? Guns don't kill, people do.

We are the Titanic,

America, the "unsinkable"

carrying dreams of freedom to their murky death.

We are the entertainment capital,

a nation full of crisis actors

getting paid to act like zombies

We are the land of the free

obliging our free willed  government

to do exactly as they please

We are the land of the wealthy

buying into all the lies

with a fiat mentality and

complacent, bankrupt hearts.

Why u labeled 'tis write matured? What's so mature in that? Oh... zombies? U meant... actors getting paid for having zombies blood lust? Umm.. movie: The wrong Turn? Oh.. jesus... what a horniest movie's that! Awesome! I guess, one day i'd like to watch its all volumes (parts) with "You" especially at night. Very eloquent and heartfelt piece. America, all these things and more. Like any proud nation, your heart swells with pride at all the good that you as a nation have done, yet for a super power you can still be surprised at what hasnt been achieved. Maybe we are starting to see the real world view for the first time, turning on ourselves when things dont go our way. In a world recession that is not showing any signs of improvement, you would think someone might realise that things need to change if we are to improve noth as nations and as individuals.
For each countries badness, there is so.much more good. Hopefuly we can get back on track again soon.

As a Brit, am i allowed to say how much I admire the content of this post? Your open mindedness, your lack of blindfold, is heart wed to mind. Inasmuch there's no sweet smelling hypocrisy, in your own mind you see and think things could and should be altered, made better...

(Believe me, please.. one could say as much elsewhere!)

Nations are like human beings, have to be seen for their Ethics- and that includes loyalty, respect, tolerance and pride. Easy to quickly type, hard to uphold but - that's forgiveable when seeing self from within.

I think its apparent to most people today that the government is more concerned with...the government than the people. Acts of violence has always been a part of America. It always will be, plain and simple. Impinging on the second amendment and utilizing gun control is not going to keep weapons out of the hands of bad people who want them. I don't like the government and I personally don't like this president.
