I'm not sure why, but this reminds me of an old wool Hudson's Bay Company blanket that I could always count upon when I realized that the chill of November had begun to set into my bones. Lovely.

I sense some wounded pride. A desire to be known for what you are, something that has not been noticed and coveted. I loved the closing a lot. It made the entire poem end with some silent gun powder!
