I often wonder what it is about this so special gift of life, what dimension we are transported to, whether it is a near as we can ever be to the fires of creation while still on this planet, and then just like that, we are back again, we hear the birds, or a telephone, or a neighbour's dog; but where were we just before that? Your poem places me back there.
What a profoundly rich vision of love being woven together in the threads of night and the rhythms of wanting. One tapestry unfolds in your words, lynn.
this like two people's deepest insides making love---much more than just bodies tingling each other.
what an embrace this poem is...i held it for awhile.

' The rhythm of intense passion -- Entwined us as colliding stars .. '
Your words really do weep diamonds, lynn. These days there's an ever present sadness, yet you finish with tender sighs rather than raging groans. To add that there's grace in your writing - maybe reads a little too much.. but, tis meant. .
Liked how beautiful you play with words:
"Two hearts... One beat..." Lovely.
Very dulcet & impassioned poetry it is... has a way to touch readers's spirits, deeply. I find the scents, the allure of love, lust, romance, & a wee bit mixture of erotic romance, sugar and spicy flavors of enraged penetration... in it which, certainly... portraying the seduction of two uncontrolled hearts but of one racy spirit. Wonderful work!
Nicely done and I expect it could go without the mature warning, but to each his own. I have marked some of my work this way and even then I am not sure. I liked this a great deal, very nice.
