I like the deep poetry with just a few lines. You have said so much here... I need to do this type of work, but I have too many words in my head. Ha.
It almost feel worse when you can hear the sound of the music, but you cannot see the lights or touch the faces from wince its comes. The is a happiness and it lives within us still. Yet at times it seems an impossible journey.
Very touching write Lynn. I felt it in my core.

Thank you so much David :) I am honored to know this one touched you, my friend
This is amazing poetry. Spot of meaning.. It really does emphasis the depth that is initiated in the title.
"tears of silence", "absorbing all" -
"visit the impossible"
Such beauty in these strong phrases really describe the lack of control yet calm composure of something that cannot be contained!
Thanks for sharing

Seemed, you're fond or "Surreal" .. ain't ya? I guess, you're. A very beautiful and kinda "pleasing" stuff it is, to me. Even the title speaking enough of your very bare baked heart so I believe, your words're everything to bash up the beats of your loyal readers, undisguised. However, you never disappoint your readers.. and for that I must appreciate your words and, of course, you as well. In a few short, simple and very effective words, you conjugate the whole scenario of your visions & then gently.. let 'em slip down in words.. for getting captured 'pon the frames of people's hearts.. for long. Kinda fascinating! Keep it up.
this feels so sad and unsettling.. almost as if things are in front of the speaker's eye, yet our of their reach. A place where happiness does not exist is a sad place to be.
Very poignant write.
love to you dear Lynn!!

hahaha thank you my sweet friend. Glad you like it
"......to
taste the land of surreal felicity." for the expressionist in us all ... the high calling is never to reach it but always be reaching ... truly a mournful state when one thinks about it!
i am a morning person so love your title too! .. inspiring to try and think of you and your thinking cap ... musing over this and that ... a filtered room perhaps ..at a small table or desk .. quill in hand :) and you just had to jot this down .. and there is so much depth in it .. and nice and short .. enjoyed reading and where it takes me

yes i does ..smiling is a healing salve ;)))))))))
it's like the tears, sorrow, alone-ness is what is real....and it is so hard to reach that surreal land of happy...we know it is there, but can we taste or just catch the scent of it?
