My heart is infected with the sad lonely of your absence. I keep applying it with salve, covering it with a band-aid... it still hurts, brings tears to my eyes. If it goes gangrene I will have to cut it out. I don't know what to do. I want it to stop hurting.
a semi-wise man once instructed me about two kinds of emotional hurting: the first and more common hurting is from falling into the same hot fire over and over again; whereas the second, and equally painful kind of hurting, comes from withdrawing from our habitual flight patterns...the first is a recurring and eternal pain...the second has duration, as we cover our loins and walk slowly into tomorrow...the first can transform into the second as we care for ourselves like we would any injured child...heaps of love lynn

Thank you so much for this rev, Ed . Heaps of love back at ya :))
Oh yes, anyone who has lost someone she loved can relate to this. The pain will not go away. With time, it dims, but it is still there. It is a wound that never quite heals. Beautiful emotions!

You display the pain of your heart; show how piercing it may appear when it's rendered by love. Beautiful though heartfelt poetry it is that provokes your spirit with enlarge intensity of melancholy words. A little glimpse of your past-love life's too shown through 'tis piece that implies, the love's ecstatic but hazardous to heart as well that cost life to the fullest. Very painful words you've come up with!
