the dream that sleeps

I have read this several times today and each time I come in here I see something else in your words. Though few, the meaning or meanings they convey continue to bloom in my mind. I feel a thread running through this that I want to pull and watch it unravel slowly before me. This is so deep but so free as well. Life is a song to sing, one line at a time. Very thought provoking Lynn.

I could interpret this a few ways. Life breath found in a single line of poetic verse. I could see a meaning here of being at one with life and breathing in the universe to pulse the matrix of our physical bodies. Then to see the projection of these breaths through the history of human choices.
And more... Packed a lot in a he words here. I like these cryptic word puzzles.
Enjoyable read.

Thank you, David :)
You are right. We have inherited this, but it helps to be reminded, or should I say commanded?

Thank you Terry, I'm glad you agree :)
I liked this poem. Honest and direct thoughts. You left something for the reader to ponder. Sometime we must stop. Breathe and behold what the world is. Thank you Lynn for sharing the excellent poetry.

Moon!!! :) really good seeing you again...thank you sweetie
From darkness we come, to darkness we return, in the universe of eternity, we're less than sparks in the night!

My take on your enthrallingly image-laden words is that whatever is left for us to find when we come, we inherit, and when we leave, whatever we've become and created, we will to/leave for those to come after us, and so it goes and grows from one new life unto the next.
You're probably laughing at me right now, but I never was any good at interpretation … still, there is a marvelous sense of continuity dancing out to me from your shared visions.

Loved it more with each read, Lynn … thank you for inspiring me to think and feel outside the box! ⁓ Richard
