Exit

Exit

A Poem by Cameron
"

A song from 2004. Interesting to look back and see the progression in my writing as it went along.

"
The sky is green tonight
I'm watching everything come alive,
with cobwebs and a thousand slitted eyes,
or maybe it's all in my mind.
I don't know ; I've never been one to judge.

We're just spectres clothed in white
Pay attention to the exit signs

My mind is blank tonight
I'm watching everything live to die
with a smile and a warm glow in my eyes
And I've lost track of time ;
don't know how, but I guess I'm feeling fine.

Chorus

Now I'm feeling colder than I ever have before
"Make sure you don't forget to lock the door."
And please don't smile at me that way ;
it chokes out all the words I had to say

Chorus x2
