Weak Lungs

Weak Lungs

A Poem by Cameron
"

A song written back in 2007. Perhaps a foreshadowing of things to come.

"
Oh, to be free
To be able to breathe
To fill my lungs with breaths drawn deep

Oh, to find sleep ;
to be drowning,
immersed in dream and blanket seas

Don't call my consciousness back to this form
if you see my lying still
I need this escape,
So leave me for the morning light.
I'm sure that I'll be fine.

Oh, to have wings
Such wondrous things
To lift my body clear to heaven

Oh, to find peace,
To cease wandering.
To fall and never rise again.

Chorus
