Mr. Bearly

Mr. Bearly

A Poem by Cameron
"

A song about an old girlfriend's teddy bear, and our rivalry

"
Oh, Mr. Bearly,
I'm barely breathing, while you're on her bed
Oh, can you tell me
how many times she tosses and turns in a night?
Oh, Mr. Bearly,
it's almost been a year since I've felt her touch
On the contrary,
you've filled my void more than once.

Everyone told me to be wary,
but you and I, we're like two peas in a pod
I close my eyes,
and I can see her standing in front of me
This is torture of the worst kind
Will I make it through this year alive?

Oh, Mr. Bearly,
I'm barely breathing, and that's enough said
These sunset memories,
they haunt the inside of my head
These ancient pictures
of all her smiles that I hold so dear
I think I'm drowning
in this abysmal sea of all her tears

Chorus
