Life Before DreamsA Poem by transentience
You’re the one
Time kept from secrets Safely sound In waves of light Slowly stretched The new vibration, deeply crimson Painted lips In melodic kiss Warm and wet Like gloom that meets The edge of Spring The vision stream of memories Our past lives--passed down In waking dreams The gift of remembering Your legacy Torn from holy scripture The spineless men Whose pride in doubt Denied your crowning rites Dethroned and plagiarized In a coup d'tat of lies A lion's prey A phoenix, scorned Unbalanced formed In the madness you’re ascribed Lapis lazuli ties moonlit seams Adorning royal eyes My gaslight queen Your sun scorched wings Still scream into the sky © 2017 transentienceReviews
