The Day You Wrote EternityA Poem by transentience
I wrote it all
Drew the way your starlit eyes Plotted constellations in my bones Sunk my fangs into your neck Quenched my thirst for truth That which lies within your skull I phased through matter To see transitions Of crimson clouds Fill vein incisions That spill into a slitted sky When dusk arrives The night becomes nebulous At horizon lines In sight from Earth The birthright to your cosmic vision I played the music manifested In your naked inhibition Caressed the strings that softly wept And sung the moon into submission I danced to beats that only knew Of your heart In rain and blood Through body--moved The hidden language of your soul If only I had ever known Defined the shapes Through which you flow The melody of movement Absorbed in tones--outlining notes In harmonic pulses of my own I sculpted diamonds out of clay Reinvented colored glass Soaked in lemon through my veins Stung into your wounded past Needle, thread of violet stitches Velvet language in your skin Aloe vera, soothing fingers Tracing curves along your chin And down your neck While pressing in Between your clavicle connection Your map of skeleton--perfected I wrote it all While you wrote all of me In a single day Eternity © 2017 transentienceFeatured Review
