Weathered

Weathered

A Poem by transentience

The weather can't commit
What's the matter?
Time
Clouds are forming Over distance
Shading space that lies
Between Us

Solving in the heat of
The moment
Equations calm and cold
Within our shelter
Expressions that we hold
In secret

It's mid-winter
Sunlight feels like the first time...
Sweat absorbed into my bones
Prisms dripping from your eyes
Feeling what we've never known
Before we knew we were alive

Quiet all your tears
Know they're truly mine
Lay them in the grass
Meet me when we find
Ourselves, again

This is aware of the details of being. Or rather the effect they have on us. There are some astounding lines in a write full of flow and atmosphere. I am particularly taken with Sunshine feels like the first time.
Although there is perhaps a sadness there also seems to my way of reading a hope as well as we come to the positive change of seasons. Indeed finding ourselves again after weathering the season.
