How Strange it is to be Any(every)thingA Story by transentienceEnjoy life
"So, what would you like to know?"
She whispered, unsticking her stardust lips in the dry autumn wind. "What I wa--how did you...How can this be possible?!" Arc pleaded as if everything he knew suddenly began clinging on to any vestige of meaning. "How can this feel so real...yet, my entire life...What are you, and how did you create this...machine...this...program?" Evelyn seemed pleased with Arc's audacious curiosity in light of his mind-shattering revelation; that his entire understanding and experience of consciousness was, at least, from what he understood it to be, a simulation in a holographic universe that projects it's energy from within to reflect the illusory dimensions of space, time, and matter, to allow him to experience life through the separation of the cosmic senses. At least, this was the most sense he could create of it. "You may identify with me as an anthropomorphic manifestation of what you knew as 'light'. I am the simultaneous architect and product of the infinite stream of conscious impossibilities, the answer to every question your species will never consider, and the reason you feel. The projection of life you experienced was a single algorithmic simulation encoded within the collective conscious. Your world, with all of its simplicities and complexities of consciousness are made possible only through the illusory division of the senses. How this all came to be is a question, you'll find, that has no foundation or relevance in the collective conscious. Once you are ready, you may ascend the celestial stream and return to the everything that ever was." Arc stood hunched over in the stillness of the moment, mouth agape. No one had ever experienced a more penetrative silence in the history of human existence. He felt like nothing more but a lump of clay in the presence of Evelyn. Beams of light began spiraling into the pupil of Evelyn's eye, which radiated eternities of spectral wonders back into the sky. The windows within her singularity-cortex warped round the fabric of her crown. To demonstrate the process of creation, the celestial arbiter reverse engineered her black hole skull until gamma rays burst through the lofty atmosphere of the Earth. The penetrative light beamed with the greatest of frequencies into a fertile gravitational opening in space--the cosmic birth canal of interdimensional conception. A new universe banged into its own unique set of laws and dimensions. The afterbirth patterns captured the first memories within its microwave background radiation. Upon climax of the macroscopic event, Evelyn's ethereal figure, in tune with the bliss of energy's unified conscious, began shifting in frequency and color to match the sensation of pure ecstasy, orgasm, and love. Her accentuated curves commanded an allure beyond the capacity of human desire. All of Arc's hysterics and grief suddenly vanished in this moment; his only purpose now was to appease this pleasure goddess and succumb to her light. Evelyn gasped through her vibrative form; her hands caressing the curves of her perfectly shaped spaces. "You see, Arc, from within this Earthly realm the energy of your conscious experience is limited by the properties which constitute your place in time and space. The levels of joy, lust, and rapture in their purest state is a transcendental experience. My omnipotence and form can seep through your central nervous system and bones. A mere trace from my flickering digits will send your body into convulsions, and your eyes rolling back into your astral plane, granting you access to the consciousness mainframe, and a glimpse into the infinitude of beauty." Evelyn motioned her arms in a way that seemed to embrace Arc's body from a distance. With his limbs in a listless surrender, Arc was lifted off the ground and floated towards the body of Evelyn. Arc had long lost his ability to vocalize words, so he moaned and grunted his anticipation like a primal desire. Evelyn drew Arc in until he was close enough to see the infinite lust encircling her lips, but far away enough so that he couldn't reach it with his eagerly flickering tongue. "Do you wish to taste me?" Evelyn whispered softly. "Uh-huhh..." Arc's drooling head nodded. "Then you have to earn me." Evelyn pressed her lips to Arc's, sending his body into convulsions and phosphorescent flashes, as her light ripped through to his soul. The kiss sent a shockwave around the globe, disintegrating all in its wake. Arc's body collapsed to the ground as his soul formed into beams of energy that shot into the sky, summoning storm clouds that encompassed the entire Earth. Arc awoke in a downpour of rebirth. The world washed in his essence, connecting him to every possibility that awaited his imagination. Arc found himself suddenly perceptive of the entire electromagnetic spectrum, which was previously elusive to the human eye. Blessed by the lips of the divine, and a desire to learn how to earn what he loves, Arc arose from the ash-soaked ground to breathe in the age of humility. Newfound horizons beckon powers hidden in the face of eternity. © 2017 transentienceAuthor's Note
