Shine in Technicolor Dreams

Shine in Technicolor Dreams

A Poem by transentience

Find these lights in broken dreams

of falling stars that do not scream

as they plummet to the ground

I once had sight that could not see

horizon lines;

infinity

Until I noticed I could not blink

my lashes--thread--sewing lids between

I pried and pulled and ripped apart

while tearing at the seams

I cried for every empty heart and every star, unealized;

they fell for me

it's in your music

through which we scream

not for ourselves

but for those serene

to lend you a voice; our gift is your choice

The path you create out of empathy and habit

can make you, or break you

if you don't find the balance

Your mind is a blessing of brilliance

so rare to this Earth

Sing to the moon, and put some f*****g passion in it

You'll shine like a diamond; don't let silence

be your curse

Your choice of words reads nicely, a star-studded poem. I really like the words you chose for the title, it reminds me of one of my current fav songs; technicolor beat by oh wonder. I think the last three lines are the best.
