HIS TRUE SINA Poem by tranquilspaceHE TOOK WHAT WASN'T HIS AND NEVER PAID THE PRICEA bird with cut wings. Innocent blood splayed, An innocence taken. Stripped of pride and dignity, To be taken by the owner of it. Taken with no shame, A family left behind. Living behind curtains, Curtains of righteousness And piety. Not piety, FAKE PIETY. A plastered smile, Sinister yet deceiving, A Devil's companion In clean white clothes. Yet you stand before your lord To ask, ask for what? When all you do and did Was to take, Take an innocence, An innocence meant for another. Yet you deny, Deny the blood on your hands, An impure soul you are. I’m not to judge, I’m just a lawyer to Argue a pile of sins, Sins of the devils. © 2021 tranquilspaceAuthor's Note
