HIS TRUE SIN

HIS TRUE SIN

A Poem by tranquilspace
"

HE TOOK WHAT WASN'T HIS AND NEVER PAID THE PRICE

"

A bird with cut wings.

Innocent blood splayed,

An innocence taken.

Stripped of pride and dignity,

To be taken by the owner of it.

Taken with no shame,

A family left behind.

Living behind curtains,

Curtains of righteousness

And piety.

Not piety,

FAKE PIETY.

A plastered smile,

Sinister yet deceiving,

A Devil's companion

In clean white clothes.

Yet you stand before your lord

To ask, ask for what?

When all you do and did

Was to take,

Take an innocence,

An innocence meant for another.

Yet you deny,

Deny the blood on your hands,

An impure soul you are.

I’m not to judge,

I’m just a lawyer to

Argue a pile of sins,

Sins of the devils.

'A plastered smile, sinister yet deceiving'... Such pain , helplessness and anger coming out from these lines and from the whole poem. When sin empowers itself and judgement cries for true hope then this pain comes out as poetry... To rip the devils heart out. Much emotion portrayed here...

Well penned

You are right. The takers don't care and the givers of this world suffer. Look after yourself.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, IT'S ABOUT RAPE. THANKS FOR REVIEWING AND I'LL CHECK IT OUT
Sad and true. Some sins have been committed in the name of religion. A very thoughtful poem.

You're welcome
The meaning of these words hold such strength and power to the voice that speaks them. A truth that is painful and undeniable. One that can no longer be contained. For truth exists in the light not the shadows where lies seek to hide. Thank you for your words and most importantly the truth from which they are spoken from.
