Carelessly AddictedA Poem by Zachary CraigI fall too easily for the newly fallen The fallen that had fell the same way I have Drifting through the streets of life, lost without any hope of finding their way home. I can relate to you, my dear I can see how life must be uneasy Hard is nothing that can become easier But, easy can become harder We were all happy at one time That is why we have fallen, dropped down to the darkest depths waiting for our light to shine I can't say when the light will shine upon us, I can only say that it will. These ciggarettes and alcohol won't save us for long so let's try to see what the new day brings I can't promise that I won't fall back down, leaving you alone But I can promise that you will continue if I do Self reliance is the only thing you need right now, it is crucial So my final advice to you, my friend, is... Don't fall too easily for the newly fallen
