Frosted Love

Frosted Love

A Poem by Riley Justine
"

Can love be cold?

"
gentle lips
planted on pale cheek
wet with tears.

slow hands
placed on scarred hips
still stinging.

quiet love
given to a mangled heart
free of price.

no fire. no heat.
hushed and study
Polar Love
takes inferno's place.

seems it will last forever.
glacier-like.

silently threatening to ruin the world
if it breaks.
