ThalassophobiaA Poem by Riley JustineFear of the ocean? Or maybe fear of commitment?
They call me an ocean
a wondrous mystery. With ravishing waves and imposing clouds above me. They say I bear things deep within me which no one has yet to fathom. . . . If this is the case I AM THE OCEAN and everyone admires my clouds and waves. Most wallow in the tepid shallows all are too cowardly to swim: terrified to love. . . . He was enthralled by the waves and bewitched by the clouds. So he waded in the shallows and was further smitten by the ocean. He contemplated the horizon And despite the incredulity, he began to swim.
