Weekend Mother

Weekend Mother

A Poem by Kris Tate

I am a mother

She may not live with me,

But I am Her Mother still

No one called, emailed or IMed me a cute little message

Like they all forgot I am a mother

I just guess everyone just forgot about me

Here is where I want Her to be

But I was not worth the bother

For the weekend mother

No one cares to bother

I wish I could be....
