Specification for mounting height of LED traffic lights

Traffic signal lights are divided into motor vehicle signal lights, non motor vehicle signal lights, crosswalk signal lights, direction indicator lights (arrow signal lights), lane signal lights, flashing warning signal lights, road and railway level intersection signal lights. The requirements for installation height of various walk traffic lights are also different.

 

The installation height requirements of LED traffic lights are as follows:

 

1. Installation height of motor smart traffic light, direction indicator light and flashing warning light:

 

a. Overhung mounting, the height is 5.5m ~ 7m;

 

b. Column shaped installation, the height shall not be less than 3m;

 

c. Installed on the overpass body less than 6m, it shall not be lower than horizontal and vertical clearance above bridge deck;

 

d. When the installation height of the additional signal light is less than 2m, the signal light shell shall not have sharp protrusions.

 

2. Installation height of non motorized lane signal light:

 

The installation height is 2.5m ~ 3M. When overhung mounting non motor vehicle signal light is used to guide the motor vehicle traffic signal light pole, the installation height requirements of motor vehicle signal light shall be met.

 

3. Installation height of pedestrian crossing signal light:

 

The installation height is 2m ~ 2.5m.

 

4. Installation height of lane signal light:

 

a. Installation height: 5.5m ~ 7m;

 

b. When installed on the overpass with a clearance of less than 6m, it shall not be lower than the bridge clearance.

 

5. Installation height of crossing signal light:

 

The installation height shall not be less than 3m.
