Best Friend

This was written for my best friend whom I grew up with. We have been freinds since fourth grade

Thank you for being there, Friend,

We have been through a lot over the years.

We’ve shared a lot of laughter,

Even shared some tears.

We have done and seen a lot,

Even some trivial things.

We have been through everything,

That a true friendship brings.

We have even been known,

To put our friendship to the test.

But we always passed though,

‘Cause as a true friend you are the best.

There have been a few times,

When we wouldn’t even talk.

But you knew if you ever needed me,

To get to you I’d walk.

We grew up just like sisters,

So glad you’re still my friend.

I can promise you this one thing,

My friendship will never end.
