Missing You

Missing You

A Poem by Zapata

I miss you so much,
And you don't seem to care.
When you last said you loved me,
Your heart wasn't there.

I'll lie wide awake,
Just wishing to go back,
On days you'll find me wandering around,
Like an addict looking for crack.

I sit here now with an empty stare,
Not sure what I'm thinking of.
And then I know it must be you,
What I'd do to get back your love.

Tonight I stand here all alone,
With nothing but your lies.
But now they have become my truth,
And where my happiness lies.
