Cocoon

Cocoon

A Poem by Toni Prehoda Kahler

I
wrap
myself
in words:
favorites,
familiars,
dark bliss
metamorphosis.
Sounds are silk
layers, scales,
moods
unveiled,
rhythm,
wings.

Beautiful imagery. A beautiful poem.

What a great poem! You get
some much in just a few words.
It's magical the two images I
get from this poem. Creation
in writing and a butterfly
being created!

Terrific, both in form and context. Your words wrap around one's mind.
